This Privacy Policy explains how Locally Found ("we", "us") collects and uses information when you use locallyfound.app (the "Service").
Information we collect
Scan inputs. The business name, category, city, and state you enter to run a visibility scan. Email address. If you choose to reveal your results or purchase a report, we collect your email address and your consent to be contacted. Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Technical data. We log IP address and basic request metadata for rate-limiting and abuse prevention.
How we use information
We use your inputs to generate AI visibility diagnostics and reports; your email to deliver results, send the report you purchased, and (with consent) occasional relevant tips; and technical data to protect the Service from abuse. We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party processors
To provide the Service we share data with: OpenAI and Google (your scan inputs are sent to their AI APIs to run the diagnostic), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), Upstash (data storage), and Cloudflare (bot protection). Each processes data under its own terms.
Data retention
Scan records, including any captured email, are stored for 30 days and then automatically expire. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message.
